The Little Deschutes Grange #939 in La Pine was chosen as a benificiary of the Coop and Garden Tour because of its committment to our rural lifestyle in La Pine, activities in the community, promoting economic vitalty by way of its monthly flea market, and its support and dedication to our local 4-H livestock groups and Scout programs.


More about the Grange

The Grange is the nation's oldest national agricultural organization, with grassroots units established in 2,700 local communities in 40 states.  Its 200,000 members provide service to agriculture and rural areas on a wide variety of issues, including economic development, education, family endeavors, and legislation designed to assure a strong and viable Rural America. It was formed in the years following the American Civil War to unite private citizens in improving the economic and social position of the nation's farm population.   Over the past 143 years, it has evolved to include non-farm rural families and communities.

La Pine Little Deschutes Grange has monthly Potluck Dinners and everyone is welcome to come.Check it out the 3rd Tuesday every month. The Grange Hall is on Morson (just south of 3rd Street). For information call Dot at 541-536-2197.
